Assign a Development Resource to a Heading
You can assign a resource to a heading graphically, or by filling in the cells of the Development rates data grid to create a development rate rule.
Assign a Resource to a Heading Graphically
- In the Setup Schedule > Development tab, drag a resource from the Resources pane to a heading in the 3D Canvas.
- The Max Rate field appears.
- Enter a value for the maximum rate for the resource in this heading.
- click the Select all icon in the visibility constraints bar
- use box selection to capture the headings of interest
- hold CTRL and click the headings in the 3D Canvas
Note: The value you enter is usually less than or equal to the resource capacity. MineSched does not use a value higher than the resource capacity in the schedule. If the value for the maximum rate is greater than the resource capacity, the value for the capacity is used in the schedule.
The image for the resource appears on the 3D Canvas next to the heading to which you have assigned the resource.
Tip: You can assign a resource to multiple headings by first selecting multiple headings in the 3D Canvas, and then dragging the resource onto any of the selected headings. To select multiple headings:
